Dear Hayward U.S. Team,

Navigating our COVID-19 response over the past two years has proven difficult, as information is ever-changing and contagion rates fluctuate with the introduction of each variant. Thankfully, we are currently experiencing a steep decline in positive cases across many of our U.S. locations.

Over these past two years, we’ve learned a lot and have experienced periods when we must enhance health and safety protocols, and times when we are able to scale back. We do not know what the future holds as it relates to COVID-19. However, we know that in order to make timely decisions and protect the safety and health of our employees, it is imperative to put measures in place to be in the best position possible to manage what may come our way.

In order to achieve this, our COVID-19 protection protocols must reflect our employees’ collective vaccination rates. To help us in this decision-making process, we have implemented a COVID-19 Vaccination Management and Testing Portal.

Through this portal, we’ll be able to track vaccination status and testing in a secure, confidential manner. This information will enable us to ensure we are complying with the most up-to-date guidance from health authorities to keep our teams healthy and safe.

All U.S. Hayward employees are required to register and provide their COVID-19 vaccination status in the portal. Please follow the steps outlined below to register and submit your COVID-19 vaccination status by March 25, 2022:

  1. Visit the Hayward Healthy Returns COVID-19 page

  2. Enter your employee ID, Last Name, and Email

  3. Select “Record a Vaccine”

  4. Follow the prompts to verify your information and submit

As stated previously, Hayward does not plan to mandate vaccination as a condition of employment. For those who are not vaccinated, however, we continue to strongly encourage you to consider your vaccination options with advice from your personal physician. For more information on COVID-19 vaccines and where to find a vaccine near you, please visit the CDC website.

You may find our current protocols on COVID-19 reporting, quarantine periods, vaccinations, testing, and face coverings, here.

If you have questions regarding these protocols, the Vaccination Management and Testing Portal, other inquiries on COVID-19, or to report a positive case, please call Hayward’s COVID-19 hotline at 1-336-712-9900, ext. 4299 (HAYW), or send an email to stayhealthy@hayward.com.

Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.

Please stay safe, and stay healthy.
